Tempting blade

You feel the blade on your wrist, The painful twinge and then the bliss, The relief of all your pain, All the hate, and all the blame, You gasp as you bleed, But this is all that you need, To escape from reality for just a moment, Knowing that once you're back you can't control it, You add a cut upon every scar, Remembering all the times you went to war, With yourself inside your mind, All the times you tried to hide, But failed because the pain was too strong, The blade told you cutting was where you belong, Now you've giving in, To Ana who told you you weren't thin, And to Mia who cried out to you, Of course the tempting blade too, But now your life's a living hell, Because you gave in and fell.
