Well we begin today with sunshine
Brighten day arises to open eyes on my face
Smiles given granted compliments
A feeling of flight cares a drift
The company of a new, with laughter and truth
To feel alive and to know the reason is you
Given strength again which was being lost
To lose a friend is hard not to also want to end
Depths of darkness swallowing purpose choking disturbance
To be shined upon, to be given notice
Lighten my life a bit; warmth feeling hoping will stay lit
What we can share in each other I’m well aware
Sun shines brighter with your days
Meaning days with you, in words we spoke, all was true
In all that was told left on the table
All cards in neither hand folds
Players ground, where dreamers crowd
Some pitch lines to strike, most end in out
How’s the weather been?
Leagues of love sunny days blue skies above
Catcher glimpsing over her shoulder winking another look
Play ball rolls off the tongue in told tales of love
If you feel she’s the one it should never grow old
Love has won
