In A Name

This is my poem for Lydia’s challenge.

In this challenge I had to pick two numbers,

The first to determine the number of words she gave me.

The second, to determine the degree of difficulty

In A Name

What is in a name?

But letters, and the echo of ones thoughts.

With a name, can one define ones self ?

Through simplicity, or complexity, Pregnant with meaning.

A noun to Locate or define one's Domain.

In the act of naming, can one find Reason?

Or a Window to memories lost, or those Deceased?

But to dwell upon such fragile memories, would one not Suffocate?

And here I wonder, upon the silent enigma

What is in a name?
