You say that I’m a dreamer, one too high up to see the truth
But the thing is you lie
It’s not impossible for my dreams to die
They always do
They fall around me like pieces of glass without any super glue
But still I smile
And you think I’m still dreaming all the while
But you never really did see, you never really did understand
I was never like you
And I was never like them
There’s simply something about me
Maybe it’s the nature that’s created me
Or the dreams that were breathed into me
Or maybe it’s my eyes
The ones I use to see
The ones that cry for you and me
Or maybe it’s just the way I was meant to be
You always did say I’m a dreamer
