I’m the shadow in your life
Your guardian angel and protector
Yet to you I’m just a spirit instead of existence
A doll instead of a person
Can’t you see?
That to me you’re more than just another person
You’re my reason for existing,
My only reason to keep going
You’re my heart, my soul, the very air I breathe
Yet it always seems as if I’m not one you need
Not the one you want
Why is that? I ask.
Maybe it’s something I should keep in mind…
