"So high like I'm a star..."

I cannot lie any longer

I need to tell the truth

I can't hold this in

But I'm scared to tell you.

How will you feel about me

Do you feel like this too?

I am just dying to say it

Only if you do as well.

I shiver because I am so cold

And you aren't here to hold me

And no matter how much I cry

I don't feel any better

Oh, Les.

Can't you hear me anymore?

Or am I just talking to the air

And listening to myself breathe…?

I need to see you

To hold you tight

I need to say this

To make this right

But don't run

If you are scared

Because I am too

I am afraid.

Because these words

Are three words

And I am dying to tell you.

I really do, L.

With all my dying heart

You wish to know the truth…

I will tell you.

I love you.
