Screams in my ears,
I attempt to shoo them with my hand
minutes later they return,
piercing the sound barrier.
Black under my eyes,
a heavy weight upon my shoulders
I touch the triangle
and light fills my sound.
This melody makes me think of one
then two
then all the rest
and that’s where I look at myself…
and that’s where I look at myself.
I want to be his forever
whoever he may be
I’ll be his perfect disaster
and he’ll be my forever
But fear strikes
he needs time
he won’t reply
no one home
no lights on
paranoia
I saw it coming
Once I was beautiful…
but now…
I’m not.
Moving on again
to another
where this time
He’ll fall for me.
