What has compelled me
to want you still
when it is so wrong
when I hardly know you
what has taken me over
the need to know more?
What must I do
to make your heart less sore?
Can I be that girl
who makes your world twirl
your head spin
the one to win
your love?

What silliness am I
that I like you already
what siliness would it be
for you to like me
so I guess I'll hold your hand a little longer
just so we feel complete
when it comes to love
I will never compete

I guess that should be okay,
because I just met you.

But I'd like

To you, my Nick.
