If the world was your oyster

Poetry By: Emmie x

You are only precious when you are uninfluenced and truely yourself. Too many people hide away, but only they can see the glitter of the innards of the oyster

The world is your oyster

You are its pearl

You are the one it needs

To never stop its twirl

You are hidden by shells

Of glitter and gold

Never to be opened

Never to be told

You could be opened

You could be free

But what would the world be

For there would be no more me
