I am the snow
I am the ice,
I am the cold,
I am the Winter Queen.
In sun I will melt,
In frost I will thrive,
My life,
Is about balance.
If gazed upon,
By my cold blue eyes,
You will see the torment,
From all the deaths I've caused.
In my eyes,
You will see the loneliness,
Of far too many years lost,
To hate and blame.
I'm the one blamed,
I'm the one hated,
Never Sun,
Never Wind.
I'm hated because,
Of my very job,
I'm hated because,
I have to kill life.
If not for the killings,
Life would not be recreated,
Into something far more beautiful,
Each and every year.
I'm the reason for life,
As well as death,
But I am only seen,
As cold, heartless, and malicious.
But the truth is,
That I am cold,
Because I am alone,
Never to allowed to love another.
I am heartless,
Because I was made to be,
My heartlessness is from,
My many years of loneliness.
I am malicious,
Because of many years,
Of being hated and blamed,
For simply doing my job as Winter Queen.
But never will anyone know,
For I am forced to sit in solitude,
Waiting for the next winter,
When I can leave my confining castle.
Even though,
I am widely hated,
It is still wonderful,
To leave my hellish home.
I sit in my castle,
Passing every day of spring and summer,
Planning how to make the coming winter,
Even more beautiful than before.
Even though I know,
That no matter how beautiful,
It will always go,
So this me,
The Winter Queen,
I tell of my story,
So maybe I won't be hated.
