When It All Hits The Ground

When it all hits the ground,

when I am at my wit's end,

I will not make a sound,

I'll not whimper, nor bend,

I will face this dark,

When I've found enough light,

On this journey I embark,

Be it day or be it night,

I suffer for my kindness,

And I suffer for my joy,

I find some faith in blindness,

but still I'm played with like a toy,

not a single moment will I stop,

and view the world around me,

Rather I will rise to the top,

and ignore the evil around me,

to stop and stare,

at a world that mocks me,

makes me proclaim "It's not fair"

and stop at what blocks me,

why cant I move forward,

why can't I be free,

why must I be tormented,

and told I can't be me,

am I really that wrong,

is that why I fall,

Is that why I can't bring myself up to stand tall,

to hell with it then,

when it hits the ground,

I'll be at the center of it all,

laughing at the world that set me up to fall.
