Hither to
And thither went
A small-ish bird of prey
As there across the meadows
The children engaged in play.
Hither to
And thither went
The ladybug flying by
But little did the children know
He was on his way to die.
Hither to
And thither went
The children in the meadow
a-singing and laughing all day long
creating resounding echo.
