Eraser, Just loved this one. No, there is nothing more soothing than the rain. It rained for the first time in two years, a couple of weeks ago. I went out and stood in it as if I had never felt it before. What a wonderful feeling. We live in the desert, and although the desert doesn't have an abundance of rain, we have been in a serious 4-year drought. When I was reading this poem, I began to relax. Thank you.I needed that.

cool poem, really like it :) like how you did that picture up there, hope I can learn how to do that.
take care...

i wished it could rain more here. I dont live in a desert like Glenna Marie, i live in one of the most populated areas in Australia, and we are having a drought. Great piece, i love rain so much, an Etude on its own.

Blimey, I like it. It rained in my loungroom this afternoon, but it hasn't rained in the kitchen for over two years, as Australia is currently in drought. I never venture into the bathroom without an umbrella, which is good advice for anyone visiting a public convenience. Your poem's a right balltearer. Cheers Eraser!

Cute, Sweet, Innocent, and fun. Excellent job of portraying the beauty and splendor of something as simple as the rain.

I like the atmosphere of the peom...and the way you used sounds to describe the rain!~~~~>O

Okay, so I'm loving the onomatopoeia you used to make the rain seem real. It was as if you could actually hear it hitting the roof or splashing on the sidewalk...
Where I live in North Carolina is experiencing super drought conditions right now [although possibly not as bad as what Australia is going through] and this poem is the closest I have gotten to the sound of rain in quite a long time.
Thank you so much for reminding me how relaxing the rain can be. We all need that sometimes. =)

Nice!! Makes me think of the BIG drops just before a thunderstorm. I like it. Smooth across one's mind.

Rain is a beautiful thing. I wrote something about it called The Rain Fell, and perhaps you'd like to come and comment? Nice poem, keep up the good work!

Nothing can beat the rain!
In my opinion, its the most beautiful thing.
Snow comes after that, but snow is cold.
XD
Very nice poem.

I like how the poem itself, visually, looks a bit like a rain drop. Well done!

Very expressive
Liked the simplicity and the way the text seems to measure out the raindrops one by one.
Nice one!

Hi Eraser,
I love the poem and actually felt as though one of those almost audible plops was carrying me away in it's puddle! I live in Ireland where it rains all the time but I don't think I'll hate it as much today ;-)

The rhythm of this poem so brilliantly mimics rain falling, that steady, tapping rain. My mother used to look out the window and sigh, "It's down for the day."
She could tell by looking at the sky and the quality of the rain coming down. Of course, she was Irish! Who knows rain better! Lovely poem!

I enjoyed reading this poem. It reminded me of how no matter how bad my day just listening to the rain washes every bad thought away.

This is a great poem. As you can tell from my *Rainfall* poem, I love the rain. As I was reading this, I could almost hear rain. Good job. :)

Thanks for welcoming me!! And I really enjoyed this poem, it's very fun. Makes me want to curl up with some hot chocolate and just watch the rain tapping against the window, great job!

Very nice poem! You could transmit the sounds as well as the "image" in it.

Very cool. It tickles the sense of sound with a brilliant use of onomatopoeias. Plus, it creates a stream of water visually, like rain flowing down the street. I love the sound of rain and to be in it, especially for kissing and running.

I enjoyed that. It really shows how the slightest touch can have the most effect. Very nicely written. It has a playful sort of feel, and it fits the topic well. Nicely done Eraser, I'm keeping an eye on you.
