It started out as a one night stand.
Eventually I fell for this queen of my land.
Through the times we loved, we cried.
When we fought a piece of me died.
She held me close as I pushed her away.
My temper she bared every night and day.
She seen past my scars to the true me inside.
The me I wished I could once again hide.
Then the day came when I pushed to far,
Now I sit her wishing on a star.
I love her still but can not understand,
How could she ever love a broken shell of a man?
