I don't regret it; I regret the feelings

We spent the whole night
indulging our fantasies
under the soft covers
of your bed.
We greeted the rising sun
with our rising moans
that eventually exploded
as the light filled your tiny room.
You drifted off to sleep,
looking happy
(and satisfied),
but I lay awake beside you,
imagining myself curled up
in your arms
and wondering
what I would be in the morning.
