This is a bit of a weird one. I started writing on one topic, for the first couple of lines and then it just kind of changed with out me even thinking. Anyway it kind of ended up with a poor, sweet, homeless child who is just asking the passers-by for money. Enjoy. View table of contents...

Really good poetry. The best I've read today in fact. Brilliantly structured in rhythm and rhyme.

oh ....so sad,
homeless kidswho have no food and shelter and nobody bring tears tomy eyes.
My papa was homeless and an orphan and he had to work hard to earn his PhD in Chemistry and he was determined to do it. He did it by his own merit and received a scholarship to study further. He did so much for us and I feel indebted to him forever.
He will tell me "In this world of competition, forget that u r a girl and so u cannot do it."
I believed in him always.
This poem revived all those memories of my papa being a homeless and an orphan when his family died in the cholera epidemic in India when he was a kid.

so sad.
it reminded me of the movie Oliver based on Charles Dickens' book.

I can't believe I didn't comment sooner! This is so sad :( Makes you think how lucky some people are to have a home, and good food each day... and a bed to sleep in, and friends that are there for them!
A really good poem, I love the repetition of 'Sir', alters the tone and makes it even more awesome :P
