I hide from what you never seek

I fear what is never said

I crouch beneath the stars of night

And pray of a life

Saved from what I know not

Yet I know it’s there

Hiding in the gloom

Waiting for me

Ready to pounce

Count to three with me

One… two… three…

And run

I like it, short and simply but still says a lot.:) I think it's cool! I really do like it a lot!!:D Have you thought of also maybe making a longer poem?

Do you mean in general or for that poem? In general, I usually have shortish poems but if you read Threading Thoughts then that's a longer one. For that poem, I was going to make it longer, but then I decided not to. I might write for about it though. Thanks for the comments. :) Eternal Night

hm it has a darker feel to it and for some odd reason, i thought of hide-and-go-seek when reading it. but i enjoyed it. it wasn't your strongest, but it was a good read. i loved the last two lines. they actually kinda give me chills for some reason. hmm.
well done eternal night! ^^

I like the sharp ending, And run. It just gives it a creepy edge. I like it!! 'I hide from what you never seek' is also really good! The poem was enjoyable :D Well done :P
