The sky
spews forth her many tears
Still peace can fill
my heart
She heralds Hope.
New beginnings.
Pain
is slowly washed away
No, never completely
for some memories
must remain
lessons,
pressed deep
into my acceptance
hard learned.
Miraculously, hurt
dissapates
in micromeasurements
with each cleansing,
sweet drop,
My soul is laid bare
Open
to receive
the renewing waters
Baptismal
entering my soul,
drenching my heart, and
annointing my body.
I rise and quench
my whole thirst.
And I am sated,
yes
almost tomy core.
Save the last
corner in my heart
withered away.
