Father Cracks

Poetry By: EvaHSagar

This is quite dark and raw. It was one of those poems that just comes while I remain in a haze. This is it's unedited finish. Make of it what you'd like!

These cracks you've caused

Crack and crack.

This image is black,

Silver Glass, your father is gone.

You lost not all of him

All at once.

You find bits of it all

Fallen through these cracks.

Cracking sounds crushing your brain,

Blaming him, finding him there

In the suffocating air.

Crack you caused,

My anger enflamed,

Ripping bits of love

From silver glass.

Father, is that you

cracking there in this

Suffocating air?

Love me! Love me!

Resin up this image cracked!

My anger is black,

As I scrape silver glass,

As I lodge my nails in these cracks,

As I beg for you to love me back!

Father! Father!

Is that you there?!

Answer me or I'll

Drown us there!

In this suffocating

Angry air!
