Poetry By: Evan Matthews
Poetry

Simply how everyone feels when they look upon the one they love... But to them, you don't exist.

I can see you, but you can't see me.
I see you walking; Invisible.
I can touch you, but you can't feel me.
I hear your whispers in my mind.

I can see you, but you can't see me.
I can hear you, but you don't hear me.
I can feel you, but you can't feel me.
A ghost of your love.

I've walked with you a thousand times.
Through these streets of endless dreams.
I've called out to you a thousand times.
Your ears are deaf to these phantom's screams.

I hear you talking of my name.
I know your feelings, deep inside.
But I am nothing; Full of shame.
A ghost of what I used to be.

I know you, but you don't know me.
I taste you, but you can't feel me.
I can breathe in but it isn't me.
I'm a ghost of your love.

I know you, but I don't know you.
I see you, but I can't see you.
I can touch you, but I don't feel you.
I'm a ghost of your love.
