It is the color black

It is the color darkness

It is the color emos and skaters wear

It is the color black

It is the color when we close our eyes

It is the color commonly seen

It is the color black

It is the color that represents mourning

It is the color of death

It is the color black

It is the color of my socks and shoes

It is the color black

It is the color that described entienties

It is the color black

It is the color of ink

It is the color that defines evil

It is the color black

It is what it is, whatever you describe it's still the color black.

I like your poem -- I like dark poetry, even though I'm not emo. (ha, ha) I wrote a poem on black, too, you should read it!

Anyway, good job on the poem!

thank you I will read your dark peom right away and comment on it, thank you for spending time on reading it.

I like your poem. From a critiquing point of view, had you left out some of the "it is the" I believe it would have been stronger yet express the same feelings. For instance,

The color black is darkness
the color emos & skaters wear
seen when we close our eyes.
Black reprepresents mourning, death ...

But then it is your poem, not mine :-)

I'll condsider your advise I don't mine it just makes me improve my writing thank you for your time and comment.

You have talent ezzy. Thank you for commenting on my poems, with regard to "Peril", the look of the monster is up to the person reading it. The aspect of how it got the girls is non-relevant as it is on theme mostly. The theme of survival. I call the evil character a monster based on its perverse treatment of the young girls. About my love poetry, if I still have the love of my life in my life, I suppose I do. In my heart and memories, but not in my bed. xxx

Thank you, I liked how it came out, I'm glad you liked it, and thanks again for reading my writing.

Am I the only one disappointed in this one? This poem pales in comparison to your other works...
