The Nevermore Sweetness of a Blackened Maid

Poetry By: FallenLoveProductions

This is a poem i was inspired to write while learning about sonnets in literature class, though the only aspect of it that is sonnet like is the rhyme scheme.

The Nevermore Sweetness of a Blackened Maid

A man fulfilled by the pyres

at times that Passions proclaim

though this he built in the Mires

the mires of Stygian domain

Though man dost Please his eyes

with the beauty of woman Profane

man doth not compare his lies

to the beauty of power Arcane

With such Power bestowed

upon a Maid so fair

the Bane of the hollowed

will ne'er Compare

Man dare her not

for the Dignity thereof

the Ingenuity sought

has furthered itself Whereof

Ye shall recompense

all times Thrice

for Witness do i sense

witness to your Vice

The evermore bleakness

of men hath no Toll

on the Sweetness

of her Blackened role
