From the kingdom where I came from,
I had known a happy song, that I always sang.
From the kingdom where I came from,
My feet had known the steps to a beautiful dance.
From the kingdom where I came from,
I once had a habit of smiling a genuine smile.
From the kingdom where I came from,
All day was play and all night was a dream.
From the kingdom where I came from,
I had grown out of it one day.
From the kingdom where I came from,
I do not fit any longer there.
From the kingdom where I came from,
I had knitted a beautiful childhood that I cannot wear any longer....
