Today should have been your judgement day,
Not after, not before, the second of May.
Still you don't realise what you've done,
Still my tears refuse to come.
I know you're not affected by the decisions you made,
I know you don't care that I’m the one who's paid.
Forgiveness doesn't mean it was right,
I know guilt doesn't keep you awake at night.
I know you're trying, but I can never forget,
Do you hurt, do you regret?
The pain and the hurt you put me through?
Do you care? I'm not sure you do.
Well you may be deemed innocent,
You may have walked free,
But will you ever escape from memory?
