You silly stupid boy, sweetheart.
What are you doing?
Can't you remember how true love is supposed to feel?
You lonely fool, are you in love?
Love comes in many forms and I know she loves you, I know she loves him.
True love is not what she gives you and it's not what you gave me.
Some people wonder if it even exists.
If I had the chance I'd remind you.
It does.
The things she's doing to you whether you believe she is or not,
Those are the things I never even dreamed of.
I'd go down on my knees and cry, beg you to believe what we can all see.
Remind you that you know I tell the truth.
The truth kills you. Compassion kills me.
O you sad lonely man.
DO you remember when you made me weep and scream at you and hurt?
I found out about all the others you'd loved,
I wish you'd told me sooner I said.
I didn't find out for months.
Would you want to feel like that?
You said it hurt you to see me crying,
It would have hurt even more if you knew I was dying.
Please. I'm only begging it's all I can do.
I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy so heaven knows
I wouldn't wish it on you.
Sometimes I feel sorry for the beautiful dove.
Who’d want to be the symbol of this cruel thing called love.
