Adam from all accounts was incredibly idle and even backwards in coming forward and assuming what were clearly his manly duties; Eve though had no such qualms about what she expected for herself, desperately wanted and by hook or by crook was quite prepared to ensure she got, while the snake, like all charmers, made absolutely sure she wasn’t disappointed.
