Cheaters's cheat,

And liar's lie.

Alcoholics meet,

And junkies Die.

Homeless hike,

And teen mother's weep.

That's what it's like,

In the city streets.

Blood runs like water,

Hatred like wine.

The summers are hotter,

Welfare's got a line.

Those glaciers are melting,

And they could care less.

Everyone needs helping,

But no help is left.
