Lush green carpet
‘Neath my feet.
Bed of the forest
With its earthen smell.
Hidden low
Beneath the fauna.
A place to rest
For the small and the meek.

Beautiful piece, real earthy. I like it a lot.

A well described forest scene. A 'like it' from me.

Nice. You might try moving "Bed of the forest/With its earthen smell" to the beginning; it might work even better.
This one's my favorite of your poems.
