One year after my first love and I parted, we met.

Red wine tonight to help you forget
All those times baby that we tend to regret
I look back now and think you more as a brother
And now I freak out when we talk to each other

Everything everything is falling into space
Everything everything is falling sideways
Everything everything is falling into place
Oh yeah? We're on the cusp of change

Yearbook reveals that I used to care
Still an emotion that I randomly flare
You sign over your face and I over mine
I'm terrified of what I'll find over time

Everything everything is falling into space
Everything everything is falling sideways
Everything everything is falling into place
Oh yeah? We're on the cusp of change

We cuss and turn and slowly reset
A damaged ego escapes out of the net
Stray locked gaze fake us out to the night
But in the end we are bound by old fights

Everything everything is falling away
Are we on the cusp of change?
