I am disillusioned by the path I've chosen.

oOo

My eyes are the eyes that have seen

More years than the rest of me

My soul is much older

And time's too much to shoulder

My age

Is my home and my cage

'Cause I'm tired

So tired

I'm an angel

And my angle is sarcastic wings

And my halo

Is broken down demonic dreams

Set to hover over me

Cast your fractured light to me

I am crushed by the end of the day

Too destroyed to reveal my name

I am weathered

And I'm tethered

To the rebel life that's killing me

A cynic bird is set too free

I'm an angel

And my angle is sarcastic wings

And my halo

Is broken down demonic dreams

Set to hover over me

Cast your fractured light to me

What is your stake in me?

Release your hammer

I can't bleed

Your charity is lost on me

I am lost on you

Are you lost too?

I wonder

As I wander

Will an illuminated world ever see?

I'm an angel

And my angle is sarcastic wings

And my halo

Is broken down demonic dreams

Set to hover over me

Cast your fractured light to me

oOo
