The dog I have is named Ramsey,
We used to call him Houdini.
He likes to beg for human grub,
After his fill, he likes a nice belly rub.
After a bath he looks like a drowned rat,
When it’s time to go, he can be a brat.
His favorite human snack is bacon,
Too bad he leaves his dog food forsaken.
He really gets along with my cats,
He probably wouldn’t be the same with my best friend’s pet rats.
It takes a while for him to go outside,
It takes a nice juicy bit of bacon for him to abide.
He likes to sit and laze around,
Looks like he isn’t going to the Pound.
Every time he sees a dog he goes berserk,
To a Bernese mountain dog he wouldn’t shirk.
He likes to lick the dishwasher,
Believe me; he’s going far from making those dishes pure.
He isn’t that good at playing fetch,
I don’t think he can even catch.
He likes to bark at absolutely nothing
He would love to be treated like a king.
He eats his food when nobody’s looking
He is attracted by my parent’s cooking.
We never want him to eat chocolate,
He would puke if he ate a Banana Split.
Chocolate sauce he cannot lick,
Because that would make him very sick.
Whenever he throws up,
He promptly takes the initiative to lick it up.
It really is quite disgusting,
It makes my lunch want to fling.
He really is good dog,
Although he lies around like a log.
Even when he is a chore
It makes up love him even more.
