My lungs are bursting
Bursting to shout
To scream
Let me out
From this prison
From this cell
Im not meant to be here
You’ll hear me yell
My mouth will sigh
My heart will break
My head will pound
My body will shake
I will smash the walls
Knock them down
Ill find another one
The same reddish brown
They’ll keep on rising
To keep me in
They’ll rip out my heart
Make me pale and thin
My these walls that are rising
I think you will find
Are walls of sadness
A construct of the mind
