I saw you standing there
That’s when I felt the shifting in the air
John Deere coat and country heart
That’s when you blew everything I knew apart.
I look at you
I don’t know what to say, what to do
My heart races my mind,
Stuttering, my heart wins every time.
Look at you standing there
It’s not fair!
My poor heart didn’t have a prayer
Oh boy, you’re making my blush, we make a great pair.
I’ve been looking for a guy like you
Even though I never knew
But now I see no other boy will ever do
I just hope you’re looking for a girl like me too.
We let our feelings engulf us like a fire raging wild
I let love consume me like a child:
I fell for you every time you smiled
Every time you playfully got me riled.
And I remember when
I threw caution to the wind.
That November night when we were skin on skin
No matter what happens, I’d do it again.
