Don’t ask me what’s wrong
Let’s focus on what’s right
You here, holding me tight.
Pull me closer, let’s pretend you’ll never let go
A false hope because the truth we both know
Your arms will fall away letting my heart hit an all-time low
But, the pain I’ll try not to show.
But here, with you
Is like a dream, all I ever wanted to do.
Your hands on me
Everywhere I ever wanted them to be.
Hard muscle beneath soft skin,
Please Lord, never let this end.
The end drawing near is more than I can take.
Time’s up, gone are your arms, nothing stops my break.
