Your Arms Fall Away

Poetry By: foreverhis
Poetry

Hard muscle beneath soft skin,

Please Lord, never let this end.

The end drawing near is more than I can take.

Time’s up, gone are your arms, nothing stops my break

Don't ask me what's wrong

Let's focus on what's right

You here, holding me tight.

Pull me closer, let's pretend you'll never let go

A false hope because the truth we both know

Your arms will fall away letting my heart hit an all-time low

But, the pain I'll try not to show.

But here, with you

Is like a dream, all I ever wanted to do.

Your hands on me

Everywhere I ever wanted them to be.

Hard muscle beneath soft skin,

Please Lord, never let this end.

The end drawing near is more than I can take.

Time's up, gone are your arms, nothing stops my break.
