Dog Named Willy

there used to be a dog named Willy,
all other dogs used to call him silly,
he used to think is there more to life than being just a, Willy
If there is than where it was, really.

Sniffling for food, abandoned from home,
with horrors of pound, alone in the world
eating leftovers from a garbage,
being stoned by a barman,
the usuall sleep on a pavement,
a beast with fur, and streets being his only placement.

With clenched jaws, and quivering canines,
a bottle of rum and some food on sideline,
a night so cold with a glittering skyline,
a day went by, and he slept with an ease,
realising there was nothing more to life than being a filthy beast.
