Those eyes cannot disguise the love in you

The windows to your soul opening with every blink

Glimpsing the future you have with me

Look and see the plans I made for you

Plans filled with sunny days and starless nights

Watch me caress you and tell you you're beautiful

See the playfulness in me and my heart

Take in the sight of my love and need for you

Those eyes as green as fairytale grass

I can drown in them and never break the surface

Get lost and never find my way home

Consume me and never let me go

I see the hurt you try to hide behind them

Don't close them, don't look down

Open up and absorb the interest

Take in what I offer and hide me in your mind

Those eyes will never fill with tears

I will always make them sparkle

Like fireworks in the dark sky

Exploding and bringing meaning to my life

WOWOWOWOWOWO!!!! LOVING THIS PIECE!!!!! (pun not intended)
So many lines that stood out and flowed well with each other. OH GOSH FUNNYBUNNY, this time your romantic poem made me want to recieve one T_T

It reminded me of my ever so annoying past... i remember staring into her eyes and promising so much and showing her that her eyes really are jewels for one to behold... Then everything went: (insert a farting sound here) But i wont dwell! I promised i wouldnt...

I love green eyes... This guy would know how to make a woman feel beautiful... I try to imagine your mezmerizing eyes after reading this poem :)

LOVE IT! Now you have to write more because i found a strong interest in your love poems...

They must be beautiful ;)

Thank you seesawmae.

I agree eyes are very important, I believe its one of the sincerest ways you can get to know a person not pay attention to how they portray themselves but what is behind their eyes they look at you with...

I love it :)

Thank you Ciara, very true what you said. What's that saying about eyes are the windows to the soul? Thanx again

The older you get the more truths you can read from people's eyes, until they can hide nothing. Love sits in the eyes reflected back to the one who loves you.
