When I was made,
In the early days,
Hogwarts School was young and new.
There once were four great founders,
Who made it great and true.
Bold Gryffindor took those who had
Strength deep inside their souls,
While wise Ravenclaw took students
Striving for their goals.
Slytherin was cunning and took
Students with that mind,
While fair Hufflepuff took those
who were paitient and were kind.
Eventually, the four split up,
but Hogwarts kept on going,
No worries, students, I am here,
Let my knowledge be of showing.
Now, one by one,
You will come up
And put me on your head.
Don't be shy,
I will not lie,
And then you'll soon be fed.
