Red.

The plump suited man,

filled with cookies and milk;

rides along in his sleigh,

delivering gifts all around.

Green.

Trees in the houses,

showing off decorations;

stand tall at the windows,

his offering below them.

White.

Snow falls from the clouds,

so frigid at the touch;

blanketing the cold ground,

in complete satisfaction.

Gold.

Light from above,

brightening the path;

morning at last,

toys for nice children.

Black.

Coal in the stockings,

for all of the naughties;

the end of another,

until the next year.

~*~Merry Christmas~*~
