Friends at Spring Hill High

Poem By: gacademy
Poetry

I wrote this on the last day of my freshman year, wandering through the halls and spending time with my favorite teacher, as well as one of my best friends. I thought... man, I'm gonna miss this over the summer. View table of contents...

I'm gonna miss this place
That I could call my home
Throughout all of this year
A place where I could roam

Even if the world hated me
I know I'd be welcome here
I'm gonna miss this place
Spring Hill High
I will always hold you dear

Friendships of just one year
Made to last a lifetime
Have changed my skies of gray
Into a world sublime

Without them what would my life be?
How could I make it through?
I'm gonna miss you all, my friends
I'm nothing without you
