Am I finally free of you?
Can I carry on walking?
Can I finally make it through?
Their tears are falling
White petals turning red
I can hear you calling
Are you near me?
Are you wishing I was yours?
Instead of being free?
See my side,
Never did
Can’t say I never tried
Am I finally free of you?
Am I safe and sound?
Have I finally got through?
Eats upon the host
Preying on my angers
What I fear most
Are you near me?
Are you wishing I was yours?
Instead of being free?
Silent, deadly, unseen
Creeps among my consciousness
It burns my hatred clean
I watch the flowers burn
Reminders of you
Disappearing as the petals
Burn in red and blue
