A breeze in my face as I skip down the path
Silently singing, trapped in Summers wrath
A little hiss from the waves below
But I wave, kindness I must always show
A whisper from the most elderly trees
Don't doubt them, everything she sees
A daisy rehearsing her dance
For the big day when they get their chance
A skitter of pebbles beneath my feet
In a hurry to reach my invisible seat
A tall oak standing up proud
Everyone they watch, Natures crowd
A little girl wrapping her arms round the branch
Hugging it tightly, her courage enhance
A swift little jump up through the leaves
My own little paradise where nobody grieves
A sunshine in the blue sky, welcomes me home
I clamber up more, in a spiral, a cone
A rush of the wind, a hiss from the sea
Trapped in my paradise, the only human is me
A scan of the woods with my big blue eyes
Looking and waiting for the sunshine to rise
A squirrel springs above my head
Curling up tight in her tree of a bed
A quick flick of a switch, it suddenly becomes night
I wont leave, it is oh such a sight
A moon in the hazed sky, whispers all around
Here I shall stay, until morning be found
A content little child among Natures crowd
