“Stay away from him”
Is what they all say
“You don’t know his story”
“Turn you back now”
Is what they all say
“That guy is in trouble every day”
“He’s no good for you”
Is what they all say
“He’s just gonna hurt you too”
“Have you seen the way he dresses”
Is what they all say
“Have you seen the scars”
“Kid, do you know what your doing”
Is what they all say
“If I were you, I’d run away”
“It’s your funeral”
Is what they all say
“He might hurt you – but not today”
“That guy don’t believe in God”
Is what they all say
“You’ll end up being like him – if you stay”
“I don’t understand”
Is what they all say
“Why do you need him anyway”
“I don’t care what you say”
Is what I hiss back
“This guy, he loves me,
And so what if he dresses in black?
How is gonna kill me?
He’s past the fighting stage
How do you know if he’s good for me?
How do you know I’m gonna die?
Of course I know his story
But I don’t care what you say”
