My heart cracks like soft ice under feet
my tears role down my cheeks
my thoughts are so intense i feel the memory of your words touching my skin
the match that is lit keeps faltering because Im so attracted to you i already burn from within
a broken mirror i see my reflection only fragments of who i used to be
if you were to touch me i would burst into flames the desire and wanting is so great
i fear i cannot turn back its too late
don't speak- let your gestures say one thousand things
don't move - let your glances tug at my hearts' fraying strings
you already have a love and it burns my soul its a jagged knife edge and it takes its tole
I wish you felt the same about me,
as I about you, in this silent agony.
