Summer Nights
Summer nights cool and crisp
Eyes still up to look at the wonder of the night
To hear crickets chirp
Smells of hot dogs mixed with flowers wafting through the air.
Summer Morning
It started out under the covers not wanting to even move
The cool breeze was on my face
I drifted off to dreamland
Eventually getting up to eat cereal and watch television enjoying this summer morning.
Ninety Degree day
Arriving to not only find boards ready to be constructed
For the day
The sun beating down on my shoulder blades
Coloring my shoulders pink
Feeling my brow become moist
Fabric sticking to my legs
This is a ninety degree day without any shade or rest
