"Morning's Kiss"
The skies are abloom
the sun waves hello
the night stars
are the morning doves
and my heart seems to sing
with the light I see
not far away
from here
i hear the song of the nightingales
and summer's robins
outside on the
frosty field
a new day has dawned
another world exploding
as i look with different eyes
to the sea before me
it isn't so stormy
it isn't so dark
anymore
there never really was...
and my ears are filled
with the song
of the summer birds
in frosty meadow fields
a new day has dawned
and yesterday is past,
though wisps of it still
remain
and i see more clearly
the peaceful sea
before me
once stormy in my eyes
all illusions awashed
in another land
another world
the sky is filled with many-colored wings
and the stars are whispering "look, look"
to my heart
carried away on the wind
are the petals of the garden yesterday
and i know no more
of the curtain that fell
once before
embrace the morning
dew
and fly with the wind
because all isn't really as dark as it seems
only an illusion...
lifting the curtains
i've seen a different night
a wonderful, twinkling,
night full of morning's doves
another sea
another night
of morning's kiss
and storms aren't so stormy
anymore
look to the sky
and i can see
nothing is ever really dark
peace at every door
peace at every corner
in a world
where men
paint Mother Earth
in red
if only we reach...
and the skies
across the waters
the boundaries between
aren't so far away
clouds pass by
overlooking the
battles of
brothers
if only we reach...
and open another door
embrace the songs
of tomorrow's nightinglaes
and welcome today's
'enemies' into our doorstep
a light in the heavens
a shining light
i see
a petal fluttering in
the wind
a light...
a light...
a light in the heavens...
