Irish Gentle Man

Poetry By: Gentlespirit

Someone whom I met in cyberspace, a virtual friend on here Booksie. An individual I call friend, for they are as supportive me of as they are of my writings. We enjoy a little banter and share mutual respect.

The Irish Gentleman

(and my virtual-cyber friend)

Impressed by his warmth

his wit and verve

Taken aback by his depth

Amazed he was accepting

yes accepting

of I

for he is supportive and consistent

always ready to engage

for he has real intellect

he is a wit, a tease, real fun

Gently, intelligently, with acute awareness

no too proud either

nor arrogant

humble, open and damn interesting

always willing to challenge

open to other's minds

You, my friend

you know who you are

and I am grateful you are here

because you have no idea

what it means to me

to fence with you

to compare and contrast

opening your mind

as you open mine to the BARDIC HARPERS

Thank you

fo being, and for being you
