Like this one Jerry. Again crisp and no padding you cut through with the emotions you want to display in a confident and assured manner.

"After you…
life began anew."
says so much Jerry, so beautifully.

^_^
I really like this poem Jerry.
you know, it is very different from the regular love poems. This has not only a very sweet and tender quality but also a very real sence to it.
you know what I mean? it just really captures this down to earth feeling of falling in love. hahaha I don't know how else to say it? though I really, really like this poem.

I hope I feel that way one day. You have a soft touch with your words capturing the difficulties of finding love and the power of renewal the emotion brings.
You always sound so intelligent about matters of the heart. Makes a great read.

I really like the line "I walked a mile in your shoes/ as only lovers honestly can." Boy, isn't that the truth! There's nothing like a relationship to really open your eyes to the importance of being considerate of another person. After living together for 2 years, I think the most important lesson I've learned from my boyfriend is selflessness. What a lovely poem, Jerry!

You know, I've never been in love, and people tell me that when they found theirs, it was better than they had imagined it. But it's poems like these that convince me that at some point in my short life, I've felt true love, even if just for a minute. I believe the only kind of love is when you and your partner know eachother so well it hurts when they're away or they're hurting. You not only have to be able to empathize with them, you have to sympathize, you have to hurt when THEY hurt. Pureness and truth emanates from this piece and I felt it collide with my heart-- it just sticks. There aren't any words to describe this. I enjoyed it very much :)

Oh, Jerry this is wonderful! Poetry is all about feeling and OMGosh this one left me feeling so much. Its got that certain something that takes your breath away, yet its down to earth. I think that's the way most of us love. Great job!
