The Music of My Heart
by Gerard Lebel
You strummed
my heartstrings
knowing unequivocally
how easily
they can be broken,
encouraging
our new love song
to be born.
I lingered,
listening to the music
of my heart,
wrapping
you in its melody
once again,
yearning
for your whispers of love
long past the moment of no return.

Hi Ger,
I pondered on 'unequivicably' for a while; then thought -yes - those who love us understand our fragility.

Dear Gerabel,
Old love never dies
Your heartstrings vibrate
To a wonderful melody,
The melody of your heart.
It's a heart that's fragile,
Fot its been broken many times.
And yet does love linger,
In your ears
And in your heart.
Old love never dies.
Sincerely,
Satis

A lovely way of putting things "I lingered" - that's it isn't it? when someone you loves decides to go? We linger - not ready to accept - Very nicely put Jerry -

Very beautiful. I don't wait for Valentine's Day to tell people how much I love them!! I think this would be beautiful on a Hallmark card, or something. . . . Hmmmm, what an intersting idea: You could make up your own cards!! Ever thought of that?

But isn't that how we all fall in love, so cautious, so careful yet so foolish in the end and letting go to take hold of something worth the risk. Flawless!

The sound of love is greater than any drama queen for sure!!!
There is a reason we "endure" love, because like you said we recognize the frailty of being alone, when we have someone to lean on they lean on us as well. Loved it. :D
Once someone played my tune but i played theirs badly and i think i snapped a string... but all past aside, i hope to never love unless i know for sure that i can play them a song.
