Label me

Poetry By: Ghonesis

(I wrote this weeks ago, but I felt like it wasn't good enough. I'm uploading it anyway.)

Criticism on all the youth subcultures:
(inspired by Stormy Aura Llewellyn's profile)

When you're exceptionally smart,

And your vision's blurred.

When you love science at heart,

You know you're a nerd.

When your life is futureless,

And your self esteem is low,

When your heart is loveless,

You know you're emo.

Need I go on?

The labels are useless.

Just be yourself,

And ridicule the rudeness.

So label me,

I don't give a damn.

At least I'm trying,

To be who I am.

Shut up with the the stereotypes already.

You just need a reason,

To blame me,

For what you never could be.
