On the phone
There's awkward silence.
No one wants to talk.

Everything
has gotten quiet.
There's nothing left to say at all.

I'm glad you can't see me now
because the tears take over.
Everything is gone.
When we talk
There's something wrong.
Because every time
It ends in a question mark.

In a room
Full of people,
You and me just look away.

Try to hide
The undeniable,
What you don't see,
What you don't say.

I'm glad you can't see me
because the tears take over.
Everything is gone.
When we talk
There's something wrong.
Because every time
It ends in a question mark.

I ask these questions I ask myself.
Why?
How ?
What did I do?
Who ?
Where?
When can we live again?

I'm glad you can't see me
because the tears take over.
Everything is gone.
When we talk
There's something wrong.
Because every time
It ends in a question mark.

On the phone
There's awkward silence.
No one wants to talk
